Overlay doesn't work anymore on WoT

Hi !

I used to use the Overlay function while playing World of Tanks, and it worked fine for a while. But since version 0.8 of the game, when they switched from DirectX 9 to 11, I can't get Overlay anymore.

I used Mumble 1.2.3, I'm now on the latest 1.2.4 (beta1-33-ge9ce44a), it doesn't work with either of them.

Can I fix this in some way ?

WoT switched to Direct3D 11 then.

If you can code, have the time and motivation, yes you can fix it by implementing D3D 11 overlay / port our shader to a custom shader, not dependant on Effects 11.

We would like to - time is the problem. And in this specific case, also the knowledge on shader coding / the D3D hassle - which multiplies the time necessary to implement the DX11 overlay.

Damn Microsoft with their ever changing D3D API.

To fix the overlay for WoT you need to install a tiny d3d9.dll to the root of the game.

find it there:
