Windows 8 and Shortcuts

Hi,

I've installed 1.2.3 on Windows 8 and Shortcuts like Mute Self only work while Mumble window is active. After minimizing they stop working.

I know that 1.2.4 beta addresses/solves some issues with Windows 8, just wanted to know if this is one of them.

I'm not aware of any specific fixes to that part of the code for Windows 8. However I'm using Mumble 1.2.4 rc1 on Windows 8 myself and my shortcuts work just fine. Mumble 1.2.3 was released long before Windows 8 so even the tools it is built upon don't really know what they are dealing with.

We just published the first release candidate for the 1.2.4 which should be very close to what the final stable would look like. It was tested on Windows 8 and has quite a number of fixes for that platform. I'd recommend you give it a spin and see for yourself if it resolves your issue.

Just to report back on the issue, I installed 1.2.4 rc1 and I can now use shortcuts everywhere again.

Problem is gone for me :)
