Mumble has gone robotic

Ever since last week mumble has begun to sound like robots. it fine and clear as day when 1 person is speaking but if 2 ppl start talking it goes laggy/robotic and i sometimes if one person talks for a while it goes the same.


i have tried changing the audio quality and compression etc etc butu nothing has worked. it only me that has this issue but my head seat is fine and i have no other issues with any sounds coming through at the same time.


i ran a test on my old team speak 3 sever with loads of people talking at the same time and it worked perfectly. so it must be a mumble issue?
