Murmur unable to load Let's encrypt certificate

Post by ignaloidas »

I am trying to run a mumble server, and I cannot get murmur to load the certificates from Let's encrypt. It always fails with the message

Code: Select all

<F>2019-09-04 16:02:02.243 No private key found in certificate or key file.
and I just cannot get rid of it. The key is in pem format and is a valid key(verified with openssl). Could you help me?

Works fine here, I use Let's encrypt certs and keys too.
Debian GNU/Linux 9.11 (stretch)
Murmur 1.2.18-1+deb9u1

If you use keys directly from /etc/letsencrypt/live/ it may be permission issue. By default certs can only be read by root user.
